On Dec. 28th, 2004 the Austrian Elisabeth Goergl, one of the most aggressive women skiers on the Carrera Ski Racing Team, reached her first GS podium of the season in Semmering, Austria. This result is also important for her qualification for the upcoming World Championships.

The next women's events are scheduled in Santa Caterina where the downhills cancelled in Val d'Isère will take place on January 6th and 7th. Anja Paerson will have to fight hard against Croatia's Janica Kostelic and Finland's Tanja Poutiainen for the lead in the Overall standings.
