The
Carrera Ski Racing Team achieved more
successes in the last races before
the end of the year. In Flachau, Austria,
Rainer Schoenfelder
- the defending Slalom World Cup champion
- was 2nd in the slalom. The Austrian
thus moved up in the slalom standings:
he is now 3rd, only 31 points behind
his team-mate Benjamin Raich.
In St Moritz, Sweden's Anja
Paerson, 13th in Super-G
and 2nd in Giant Slalom, regained
the lead in the Overall standings.
The 2004 Overall champion finished
all the World Cup giant slalom raced
in 2004 on the podium, winning five
of them.
Spain's Maria
Jose Rienda Contreras was
once more 3rd , but the skier from
Granada feels able to do better
